With its latest achievement, Fabia officially becomes Skoda’s second best selling nameplate, after the Octavia. Debuting in 1999, the brand’s affordable entry level model is now in its fourth generation with Skoda pledging to continue the nameplate’s production well past 2030.

Fabia has always stood out for its spaciousness, practicality and value for money, not to mention those ‘Simply Clever’ tricks too! However, the latest generation car has further improved on this with an excellent choice of fuel efficient engines and a strong suite of safety systems.
The nameplate replaced the longstanding Felicia in the Skoda range and was also the first to be built on a new Volkswagen platform at the time. Since then, the Fabia has proved to be immensely popular in Europe as well as helping Skoda expand to international markets like India for one. Its purpose is not solely as an affordable hatchback though with Fabia playing a huge role in Skoda’s motorsport success, the Rally 2, Rally 2 evo and RS Rally 2 have made a name for themselves in the world of rallying.
