Over the weekend, at the Van Life Expo in Bordeaux, France, Renault unveiled their updated Trafic Escapade. The refreshed van now offers plenty more in the lifestyle department across its two trim levels, the Evolution and Iconic!

To top the above, the Trafic Escapade is now available in two different lengths, with two engine and gearbox options as well. Buyers can choose between a 150hp Blue dCi (diesel) with with either a 6-speed manual or 9-speed automatic gearbox. A 170hp output diesel engine is also available but can only be paired with the 9-speed auto. The refresh continues on the inside where the infotainment has been upgraded to the latest Easy Link system with automatic climate control and more driving aids also included!

At the back, a double sofa bed and folding table can be optioned along with swiveling seats, there’s even a camping kitchen in the boot! Featuring a gas cooker, foldaway sink and smart storage, Renault are calling this a “cocoon on wheels.”
Production will take place at Renault’s plant in Sandouville, France with deliveries beginning early next year.
