Inspired by the iconic Patrol, the Nissan Tekton will become the second SUV launched under the ‘One Car, One World’ strategy championed by Nissan India. Tekton will be global in its appeal and the Japanese brand say it’s “designed to disrupt, dominate and deliver for customers.”

Set for a 2026 unveiling, Tekton is aimed squarely at the C-segment and will be manufactured in partnership with Renault at the brand’s plant in Chennai in Southern India. Tekton is not only promising all terrain ability bit reliability, premium feel and advanced technology so safe to say that there is a lot riding on the new SUV.

An imposing, muscular stance and distinctive C-shaped head lamps are direct nods to the Patrol with a couple of subtle design features dedicated to the Himalayas as well. Although, the name Tekton originates from Greek culture and means “craftsman” or “architect”. More details to come!
