Microsoft 365 services went down for millions of users this morning after a software update gone wrong, resulting in frustrated office workers taking to social media and sites like DownDetector to vent their frustrations.
Microsoft confirmed that they are working on rolling back the update, but it is taking longer than they anticipated.
The fault is due to an “issue with a recent change to an authentication system” and is expected to be resolved relatively quickly.
