Dubai Police is no stranger to headline-worthy patrol cars, but at the World Police Summit, they shifted gears—literally and figuratively—by introducing the fully-electric Lotus Emeya-S to their already star-studded luxury fleet. The launch didn’t just turn heads, it sent a high-voltage signal about Dubai Police’s commitment to sustainability and the future of smart policing. The unveiling took place at the Dubai World Trade Centre, with an all-star cast of senior police officers and Lotus’s own marketing chief, symbolizing a high-octane partnership rooted in innovation.

So, what makes the Emeya-S more than just another pretty face in a line-up that already boasts supercars? For starters, this electric powerhouse can reportedly cover up to 600 kilometres on a single charge, reach a top speed of 250 km/h, and jump from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds. It doesn’t just drive—it glides with style, boasting autonomous driving tech, next-gen digital interfaces, and a futuristic aesthetic that would make even a sci-fi fan blush.

Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri emphasised the strategic role of such advanced vehicles, especially in Dubai’s most glamorous tourist hotspots like Burj Khalifa and JBR. The goal is clear: enhance police visibility, foster positive community interaction, and offer a sense of security while gliding silently through the city’s bustling boulevards. Integrating smart, sustainable vehicles is more than good PR; it’s a leap toward a greener, smarter, and more approachable law enforcement presence in one of the world’s most dynamic cities.
This rollout follows the earlier addition of the Lotus Eletre R, signaling an eco-conscious trend in Dubai Police’s operational gameplan. As Mr. Ramzi Al Atat from Lotus put it, this collaboration showcases how electric mobility—usually the domain of car enthusiasts—is revving up public service, too.

The ceremony wrapped with a commemorative plaque and plenty of photo ops, capturing a moment where luxury, sustainability, and law enforcement innovation intersect. In a city where tomorrow arrives today, the Lotus Emeya-S isn’t just a patrol car—it’s a statement on wheels.
