Lamborghini and Babolat are taking the next step in their product partnership, releasing the BL002 padel racquet. This time, the goal was to create a racquet that would be available to all padel lovers and players!
Built with a monocoque frame, 3K carbon and Koridion foam for peak energy distribution throughout the racquet, this is no ordinary piece of sporting equipment as you can see! In fact, the racquet is made with materials currently used in Lamborghini’s vehicle production processes as well as Babolat’s racquets!
Weighing in at a mere 360g, the lightweight construction ensures that this is a racquet for all, as emphasized by the colour choices! Available in either green or black, production will be limited to 5,000 units per shade.
Going back to the two brands’ first collaboration piece in 2024. The BL001 was actually manufactured by Lamborghini at their facility in Sant’Agata Bolognese and crafted like a super sports car. Yes, each component was handmade with exceptional attention to detail! This time, Babolat has taken the lead on production and design with materials expertise coming from Lamborghini, the result is a more widely available racquet for the sport.
The super sports racquet officially debuts in April and can be purchased in store and online from Babolat.
