Meet the INSTEROID, a video game inspired dream car from Hyundai! It’s a car that is designed to make you smile and will be officially unveiled next month. The concept is based on the INSTER sub-compact EV and turns the car into a rather bold expression of the Hyundai brand.
Using the words ‘INSTER’ and ‘STEROID’ give the car an unorthodox but youthful appeal. While the production EV has seen sales success in both Europe and Korea, this version is meant to boost its emotional appeal, with every element of the car being characterful.
Accentuated wheel arches, 21 inch wheels, a huge rear spoiler, ‘Signature Pixel LEDs’ and more add to this “glitch in the automotive matrix”, creating a car that blurs the lines between video games and real life. Good stuff Hyundai! The INSTEROID is set to be unveiled early on in April, 2025.
