It may be restricted to European markets for the moment but Citroen have taken a significant leap towards reinforcing customer confidence with ‘We Care’. Under ‘Citroen, We Care’, the French brand are offering a new level of security on the engine, gearbox, transmission and powertrain components of their vehicles.

Having begun on the 10th of January, 2025, the coverage takes care of customers who purchase a new car following the date and observe the brand’s recommended servicing intervals with the Citroen network. Internal combustion (ICE) and hybrid vehicles require yearly servicing while pure electric vehicles can get away with services once every two years.
Following Citroen’s scheduled maintenance means the new car warranty will increase to 8 years or 160,000 kilometres, whichever comes first. The key driver behind this move is for Citroen to show their commitment to quality and remind customers that they will be there to support them through the long-term.
Coverage under the new 8 year warranty scheme has already begun in certain European markets. These are France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland, Great Britain, Portugal, Austria and the Netherlands.
