Alpine and Cibox, both French brands, both “experts in electric mobility” have entered into a partnership to produce e-scooters. The collaboration will continue over three years for now with Alpine responsible for developing of a series of ‘performance electric scooters’ in conjunction with Yeep.me, Cibox’s sub-brand.

The two brands will work together on creating and selling the range of e-scooters which can be found through Yeep.me’s distribution network as well as in-store at Alpine. “Sportiness, performance and agility” have been defined as the main priority here while the two brands will also focus on sustainability of their products.
Officially called the ‘Alpine 100A GT powered by Yeep.me’, the first scooter is set to be released later on this year and takes inspiration from the reigning ‘Car of the Year‘, the Alpine A290. Note the inclusion of a rally inspired cross shaped LED headlight for one! A series of “sport and hyper-sport” electric scooters will follow with later models taking inspiration from the upcoming A390.

Seriously, this is no ordinary e-scooter! The body features a tubular steel frame, a telescopic fork at the front and a dual disc brake setup to bring the thing to a halt. Power is rated at 1200W with a predicted range of 50km. Better still, it’s priced at 599 GBP and comes with a 5-year warranty!
