We’re barely two months in to 2025 and Alfa Romeo have already made a statement start to the year. Only a few weeks have passed since the Italian marque unveiled their new Junior small SUV, 22,000 orders have poured in since! Safe to say that Alfa are probably as surprised as we are, describing the situation by saying the “result far exceeds forecasts”.

As a result of this, confidence in the brand is at a high, the launch of the Ibrida Q4 variant now completes the Junior’s offering in European markets. Next up, Alfa have their eye on expanding the new vehicle’s sales to Japan and Australia. While the Tonale, Giulia and Stelvio are still on sale, Junior has been met with a roaring reception in Europe, credited as being “the driving force behind the entire line-up”!

Santo Ficili, recently appointed CEO of Alfa Romeo said that he had an “optimistic goal of 20,000 Junior units by late January” and is now pleased that the car is proving itself where it counts. Santo went on to reaffirm how the Junior’s success should serve as another reminder for Alfa to continue to back its ongoing project and dealer network.
