The BF200/225/250 V6 and 350 V8 make up Honda’s range of large outboard motors, all of which premiered at the HISWA in-water Boat Show, held at Lelystad in the Netherlands. The key talking point was the four range topping high horsepower motors now being available in ‘Sporty White’.
The motors are already offered in a ‘Grand Prix White’ colour with ‘Sporty White’ being differentiated thanks to a two tone colourway. The black stripe was first seen on the 2019 version of Honda’s BF250 motor and offers a “sense of exclusivity”. It proved to be immensely popular across Europe and Japan as a result of this. A red Honda logo on the side ensures that the brand’s racing DNA receives a place of prominence, being a hallmark of both sportiness and quality when it coms to outboard motors.
BF350, a 350hp V8 which is also Honda’s flagship outboard first went on sale last year with the more compact engines receiving a refresh this year, continuing the brand’s longstanding success in the marine segment.
