All-new Honda ZR-V will join Honda Australia’s SUV line-up in 2023 (due NZ in May)

Honda Australia has confirmed the all-new Honda ZR-V will make its way into the Australian market in 2023. The launch of the newest Honda SUV model marks an expansion of the company’s existing SUV line-up, offering Australians more choice when it comes to selecting the ideal SUV for their lifestyle.

Sitting between the Honda HR-V and Honda CR-V in the company’s SUV line-up, the Honda ZR-V will include the following variants: VTi X, VTi L, VTi LX and e:HEV LX. The Honda ZR-V offers an optimal balance of fuel efficiency and dynamic performance, from city and suburban roads to highways and winding roads. The 1.5-litre VTEC turbocharged engine in our petrol variants and the combined 2.0-litre direct injection engine, with 2-motor hybrid system in our e:HEV LX deliver an impressive driving experience.

“At Honda Australia, we are committed to bringing joyful and premium experiences through our products and services, during the moments that matter. As the first new Honda SUV model launched since 1999, we are thrilled to offer Australians a medium-size SUV with sporty drivability, in-car smart connectivity, and elevated contemporary design features,” said Carolyn McMahon, Director, Honda Australia.

“This is an exciting time for Honda Australia, as we continue to see a shift in the SUV market in Australia and an opportunity for growth in the medium-SUV segment. We are committed to providing Australians with a medium SUV that is comfortable and fun to drive, with a sleek interior and sporty silhouette that reflects the individual personalities of Australians. The Honda ZR-V’s form and function will redefine how SUVs are seen, and we’re excited to bring it to our customers in 2023.”

The Honda ZR-V sits lower than most SUVs for a sedan-like driving position but without compromising on visibility. The new SUV also offers a variety of storage spaces, with the floor of the boot featuring a flat design.
