50 years have passed since Jaguar ended production of the E-type, arguably its prettiest vehicle to date and one of the most beautiful cars ever made. To mark the occasion, Jaguar have gone and built two more Series 1 cars!

Made for “a loyal, discerning client in Southeast Asia”, the two vehicles have been crafted by Jaguar Classic through its Works Bespoke project. The two cars take inspiration from Jaguar’s final 50 Commemorative Editions on the E-type in 1974 and will be the only two examples of the E-type to roll out of Jaguar Classic.

The product of more than 2,000 hours of crafting, the two cars are both drophead coupes, one in Signet Green and one in Opal Black, both colours from the 1974 palette. The tan leather seats are hand-woven and stitched while the interior is adorned with custom jewelry from Deakin & Francis, England’s oldest manufacturing jeweller, operating since 1786. Some of these details include mother of pearl, hallmarked silver and 18 carat gold Jaguar emblem on the nose!

The two cars are powered by a 3.8 litre straight six and are mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. As the cars are 2024 models, they also come with Bluetooth, a heated windscreen and fuel injection!
