BMW New Zealand has officially announced the upcoming launch of the highly anticipated X3 xDrive30e plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV), slated for release in the first quarter of 2025. This addition to the all-new X3 line-up, which includes the X3 20d xDrive and M50 xDrive, marks a significant step in the automaker’s push for a more sustainable future while maintaining performance and luxury.
The X3 xDrive30e integrates BMW’s efficient 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with a cutting-edge electric drive, resulting in a combined system output of 220kW and 450Nm of torque. This robust performance enables the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.2 seconds, showcasing BMW’s commitment to balancing power with efficiency.
