At 16:00 BST today, Bentley will unveil their most powerful vehicle ever created, the fourth generation Continental GT Speed. 771hp and 1000Nm is achieved by using an ‘Ultra Performance Hybrid’ system. The fourth gen Continental is also the first Bentley to employ electrification!

80km of electric only range is available via the hybrid system and the use of this brings the Continental GT Speed’s carbon emission figure under 50g/km. It’s a key milestone for Bentley’s Beyond100 roadmap to become the leader in sustainable modern luxury mobility! However, there is no change to the brand’s “handcrafted luxury and exceptional materials” that have always been the hallmark of a Bentley.
Bentley are calling the new Continental GT Speed an everyday supercar because it brings all wheel drive, torque vectoring, four wheel steering, an e-LSD, 48V anti-roll control for a refined but dynamic driving experience. It is also now a record holder for a highest speed reached underwater. The Continental GT Speed achieved an astonishing figure of 335kph in Norway’s Ryfylke Tunnel, the longest and deepest subsea road tunnel on the planet.
