Combining the “dark, daring and assertive” Blackline specification, Bentley have introduced a trio of Black Edition cars to their lineup. Distinguished by their gloss black ‘Winged B’ badges, Mandarin brake calipers and Black Edition badging, production is limited to just 400 examples worldwide!

However, the Black Edition treatment is more than just skin deep with the cars receiving Bentley’s ‘High Performance Hybrid’ powertrain coupled with their ‘Performance Active Chassis’. The power unit is a 4L twin turbo V8 which puts out 670hp and 930Nm, figures that improve on the previous generation’s Continental GT Speed. 0-100 can be achieved in 3.7s by the Continental GT, with the GTC and Flying Spur only 0.2s behind. 80kms of electric only range is available for crawling up and down the driveway but for everything else, there’s that V8 which breathes through a ‘Sports Exhaust’, amplifying the “characteristic snarl” of the engine.

Cosmetically, it’s the details that set these cars apart. The matrix grille is finished in gloss black as are the bumper grilles and front splitter. 22inch gloss black ten spoke wheels are also standard with an optional ‘duo-tone’ finish, either choice contrasting well with the Mandarin orange brake calipers.
