More games are now available to Volkswagen owners with the PAC-MAN Championship Edition leading the lineup through AirConsole. With a smartphone serving as the controller, the app allows for games to be played on the infotainment screen while the car is parked.
Volkswagen’s implementation of the game is an industry first as it incorporates background lighting and ID. Light for those compatible ID. models for an immersive experience. PAC-MAN has been a gaming icon since the 1980s but this time, there’s a Volkswagen twist! The game will feature the Beetle, VW Bus, Golf R32 Mk 4 along with GTI, GTX and R rims, all of which will give the user more points upon collection. There’s a bonus VW logo to look out for as well!
For now, the AirConsole app is available in most European countries on the Volkswagen ID.3, ID. 4, ID.5, ID.7 (ID. software 4.0) as well as the Tayron, Tiguan, Passat, Golf and Golf Variant. An active VW Connect Plus subscription, internet connection and active AirConsole app are needed.
