Eni, the Italian fuel company has announced a historic return after more than two decades away. This time, they will be partnering with the Alpine Formula One Team, becoming the team’s Official Energy and Fuel Partner. The brand was last involved with the Benetton F1 Team back in 2000 and is now returning to promote its ‘Enilive’ brand.
As part of the deal, Eni will have visible branding on the Alpine A525, the team’s racecar for the 2025 FIA Formula 1 season. The logos will also extend onto the the drivers’ overalls and helmets, an unveiling of which took place earlier in the week.
Eni will also extend their partnership to the pit crew where the aim is to keep innovating fuel technologies and the development of bio-petroleum for the highest level of motorsport. Renault Group have also announced a partnership with Eni to help decarbonise transportation, aiming to create smarter energy supply solutions, the first achievement of this will be through Enilive’s car sharing service.
