It’s official, Bentley’s first ever pure electric vehicle is due in 2026. With this, the brand have promised the creation of a new segment, the ‘Luxury Urban SUV’ which Bentley are calling a world first.

The new car will be designed, developed and manufactured in Crewe and will kick off Bentley’s electrification journey with the brand set to launch a new PHEV or BEV every year for the next decade. The end goal is for Bentley to only produce pure electric vehicles from 2035.

As part of Bentley’s Beyond100+ roadmap, their Crewe facility has already gone carbon neutral. A new design centre, paint shop and BEV assembly line are also in progress to prepare for the future.
