Bentley Motors may be synonymous with cutting-edge luxury and exquisite engineering, but it seems they’ve revved up a creative engine that’s anything but ordinary this time. Enter the Bentley Extraordinary Women programme – a confluence of motors, music, and sheer girl power that culminates in a bespoke Continental GTC designed by three of the most extraordinary women in the music industry: Anna Lapwood, Tina Guo, and Sister Bliss.

In an intersection of creative genius and four-wheel opulence, Bentley brought this powerhouse trio to its Crewe headquarters to collaborate on a car that isn’t just built, it’s composed. Forget the typical old boy’s club associated with the automotive world: this is an unabashed celebration of female artistry, empowerment, and inclusion, all under Bentley’s signature luxury roof, a place cobbled together by artisans, designers, and engineers chasing perfection.
And no, this isn’t just about slapping some pink upholstery on a high-performance machine. Each bespoke detail of the Continental GTC reflects the individuality and artistry of its famous collaborators. Lapwood, the 28-year-old organist who’s made church organs cool again, brings sophistication and boundary-shattering performance energy to the mix. Tina Guo, a Grammy-nominated cellist who scores blockbuster films, and electrifies Hans Zimmer’s live shows with a badass electric cello, injects cinematic drama and virtuosity. Lastly, legendary Faithless DJ Sister Bliss adds a punch of rhythm, innovation, and clubbing history to the blueprint.

Pair that with Bentley’s Mulliner design team (led by two standout female designers), and you’ve got an automotive masterpiece as much about breaking barriers as it is about breaking speed limits. The vehicle, which elegantly blends these influences, will make its grand debut in Q4, hand-built in Bentley’s Crewe-based “Dream Factory.” It’s an engineering feat wrapped in high art and meaningful storytelling.
But wait, there’s more. In conjunction with this project, Bentley hosted another session of its ‘Extraordinary Talks,’ where our trio of musical mavens spoke to Bentley colleagues about creativity, leadership, and paving the way for change in male-heavy industries. Imagine topping your coffee break with insights from trailblazers who not only break ceilings but stampede through them on a luxury vehicle.
Let’s not overlook the credentials here. Anna Lapwood, who’s already redefined the role of an organist, runs organ workshops promoting women in music and even coined the hashtag #playlikeagirl, reclaiming phrases once designed to diminish . Tina Guo, meanwhile, is practically an icon of versatility—pulling double duty on classical stages and action-movie soundtracks while smashing video game scores. And Sister Bliss? She’s not called a pioneer for nothing; Faithless has headlined every major festival you can name and even survived the loss of Maxi Jazz, announcing a triumphant comeback with new music and tours in 2025.

In the end, this isn’t just a car. It’s a symphony on wheels, a luxury gospel, and a dance beat that screams “move over” to the status quo. It’s a direct challenge to those who insist on pigeonholing women and a reminder that creativity doesn’t just belong in studios, it belongs on the road, captured in metal, leather, thread, and triumph.
