Nissan New Zealand is calling on Patrol owners to join the inaugural ‘Muster at Muriwai’ on Sunday November 15 and be part of history.
“We are aiming for the event to be the biggest gathering of Patrols in one place at the same time in New Zealand,” said Sri Padmanabhan, Country Head of Nissan New Zealand. “It will be a fitting way to celebrate five generations of Patrol across six decades, as well as the official reveal of the new Y63.”

To take part in the event, Patrol owners must register their vehicle at the Nissan Muster event page then be at Muriwai Surf Club on Sunday November 15 between 10am and 12pm.
“Kiwis have a strong affinity with Nissan as it’s a brand with a 70-year history in New Zealand,” said Mr Padmanabhan.
“Owners of every Patrol generation are invited, from the early classics through to the current Y62, as Nissan marks the end of the V8 era and looks ahead to the arrival of the new Y63.

“Patrol is a model which holds so many memories as it’s trusted, reliable and has a go-anywhere aura, it holds a special place in the off-road community for its all-round dependability.
“The Muster at Muriwai promises to be a history making day, I can’t wait to see all the Patrols gathered together and also show off the new Y63.”
Patrol owners who wish to drive on the beach after the Nissan event are reminded they will need to apply for and hold a valid Beach Driving Permit.
