Ferrari has slapped Seoul’s artistic soul, a bucket of cosmic paint, and a whole lot of “because we can” onto the already outrageous 12Cilindri. What we’ve ended up with is a one-off, South Korea–exclusive Tailor Made masterpiece that’s less “car” and more “rolling contemporary art museum with a V12 soundtrack”.

This particular Tailor Made 12Cilindri is the product of a two-year creative marathon involving artists from South Korea, Ferrari’s design brain trust in Italy, and COOL HUNTING in the U.S., who stitched the whole aesthetic odyssey together. If any car deserves the phrase “international collaboration,” it’s this one. It’s basically the Avengers, but with lacquer, electronic music, and horsehair -Yes. Horsehair.
Let’s start with the paint and the new transitional Yoonseul finish, which flips from green to violet with glowing blue highlights depending on where the sun hits it. It pulls inspiration from Korean celadon ceramics and Seoul’s neon-lit nightlife, mixing tradition and future-tech aesthetic in a way that absolutely screams “Instagram bait”.
Ferrari says it’s inspired by “sparkling sunlight on the sea.” We say it’s the automotive equivalent of a holographic K-pop album cover. Either way, it’s stunning.
Interior: Artist Dahye Jeong brings her award-winning, impossibly delicate horsehair weaving to the 12Cilindri — a sentence no one has ever written before, because no Ferrari has ever featured hand-woven Mongolian horsehair on the dashboard.
Her patterns appear on the seats, across the floor, on soft-touch areas, screen-printed across the glass roof (a Ferrari first), and yes, the dashboard literally contains a handwoven textile artwork suspended like some kind of spiritual artefact.
Hyunhee Kim, clearly not wanting to be outdone, adds her ethereal translucent acrylic art language to the Ferrari shields, wheel caps, the Prancing Horse badge, and even the centre tunnel. Imagine your standard Scuderia shield, but reimagined as a ghostly, dreamlike art object floating on the fender. She even created a bespoke wedding-trousseau-inspired case for the boot, which houses a custom Ferrari key – even the Brake Calipers Are the Statement Piece.
Artist TaeHyun Lee is responsible for all the white elements, but this isn’t just white paint, it’s white lacquer, applied using complex traditional Korean techniques and adapted for the wildest possible modern context: Ferrari brake calipers and shift paddles. This marks the first time Ferrari has ever done factory-white calipers. That alone makes this car immediately collectible, of course every Ferrari nerd already knows that.
Next, the duo GRAYCODE and jiiiiin have literally visualised the 12Cilindri’s V12 engine note and turned it into a graphic artwork draped across the bodywork. The livery was applied using the same transitional paint, but one shade darker, giving the exterior extra depth and movement as the notes ripple across the car. Yes, Ferrari has now made a synesthetic supercar. You can see the sound. Why? Because Tailor Made. (It’s true because Ferrari say it is).
Even with all the art, the 12Cilindri remains a full-fat Ferrari GT: 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12. 830 cv at 9,250 rpm- 0–100 km/h: 2.9 seconds- Top speed: 340+ km/h- And yes, it revs to 9,500 rpm, because Ferrari refuses to let the NA V12 era fade quietly into that good night.

Ferrari’s Tailor Made programme has produced some wild commissions before, but this South Korea–only 12Cilindri might be the most culturally specific, artistically ambitious, and technically experimental one yet.
It’s a V12-powered love letter to Korean craft, futurism, music, and tradition, and unmistakably Ferrari in its willingness to push boundaries simply because someone dared to try. It’s a collaboration. A statement. A museum piece. A rolling experiment. And, inevitably, something that will be worth absurd amounts of money in 20 years.
