Jaecoo Ditches the Tarmac for a Face Full of Dirt with Supercross Deal

When it comes to automotive marketing, making a grand entrance usually involves champagne flutes, laser light shows, and a car so polished you can see your own bewildered reflection in it. Jaecoo, the new kid on the block, has apparently skimmed that chapter and gone straight to the part about mud, roaring crowds, and high-flying motorcycles. In a move that’s both brilliant and slightly unhinged, Jaecoo Australia has announced it’s diving headfirst into the dirt, becoming the first-ever official vehicle partner in the history of the Boost Mobile Australian Supercross Championship. Yes, the brand whose name sounds like a sleek German coffee machine is pairing up with an event that’s about as subtle as a double-shot of adrenaline mainlined during an earthquake.

Jaecoo’s brand philosophy is “For This Wild Life,” and it seems they’re taking that slogan quite literally. This isn’t just about sticking a few logos on a fence; this is a full-blown “Major Partnership” for the 2025 season. The deal will see the all-new Jaecoo J8 SUV integrated across the series in what’s described as a “bold fashion”. We can only hope that means more than just being the shiny prize on a podium. They’ve also secured naming rights to the animated track maps, so as you watch a digital rider navigate a series of brutal whoops and triples, you’ll have Jaecoo to thank for the preview.

Mick Sinclair, a key figure at the Supercross Championship, is understandably stoked. “We’re incredibly proud to welcome Jaecoo as the first official vehicle partner… Their brand stands for adventure, bold design, and getting off the beaten track – everything Supercross represents”.

It’s a savvy move for a relatively new marque trying to carve out an identity. Rather than whispering its name into the ears of urban commuters, Jaecoo is shouting it through the roar of 450cc engines at a demographic that lives for the weekend. Roy Munoz, Jaecoo Australia’s Chief Commercial Officer, notes that Supercross is “raw, fast, and full of energy – just like Jaecoo”. The goal is to connect with a “high-energy audience that shares our passion for performance, adventure, and premium experiences”.

So, as the 2025 Boost Mobile AUSX Supercross Championship launches this October with five rounds of glorious, dirt-flinging action, expect to see a lot of Jaecoo. There will be branded vehicles on-site (both the J7 and J8 get a mention), a premium activation space, and deep integration into the TV coverage. It’s an ambitious, full-throttle approach to building a brand. For a life this wild, it just might work. We’ll be watching—partly for the racing, and partly to see just how much roost a brand-new J8 can take.
