Nissan Australia has disrupted the automotive industry with the announcement of its Nissan MORE ownership program, spearheaded by an unprecedented 10-year/300,000km warranty – the longest in Australia, exclusive to customers who service their vehicles regularly with authorized Nissan dealers. This bold move sets a benchmark in customer care and ensures peace of mind for both private and commercial customers. (In your face those that assumed Nissan were goneski)

Under this program, effective January 1, 2025 (so now), all new Nissan vehicles will be eligible for the upgraded warranty, alongside 10 years of Roadside Assistance and reduced servicing costs under the new Five-year Flat Price Servicing Program (FPS). Designed in response to customer feedback, FPS simplifies pricing across the Nissan range for the first five scheduled services, reducing costs significantly — up to $1145 in savings, depending on the model.

Key Details of the 10-Year Warranty Program:

  • This is a service-activated warranty, meaning customers must stick to authorized Nissan servicing intervals to maintain eligibility .
  • Owners of cars purchased from January 1, 2021, are not left out: eligible vehicles with consistent servicing records can retrospectively qualify, provided they undergo a Vehicle Assessment, priced at $99, by the deadline of December 31, 2025.
  • The full warranty is transferable, ensuring enhanced resale value for Nissan vehicles.

Michael Hill, Nissan Oceania’s Director of Aftersales, emphasized that this program reflects the company’s dedication to supporting customers. He highlighted how this initiative provides long-term assurance while enhancing the ownership experience and value proposition for buyers. “We’ve listened to customer feedback and turned it into action,” Hill stated, calling the program “industry-leading” and a demonstration of Nissan’s commitment to peace of mind for the long term.

This enhanced offering also extends to Nissan’s competitive servicing plan, balancing affordability and expertise. Under the FPS program, servicing costs for popular models like the Qashqai, X-TRAIL, Juke, and Pathfinder are capped at $399 per service for the first five visits. Meanwhile, larger vehicles like the Patrol, Navara, and Z cost only $499 per service, and the all-electric LEAF is serviced for just $349 per visit.

Nissan’s move not only benefits new owners but also reassures existing customers. “Extending this offer to owners from 2021 onwards shows we are thinking about all of our customers,” Hill concluded . In a market filled with uncertain promises, Nissan has made a statement: it stands firmly behind its vehicles and its customers, now and into the future.

For Australians looking to purchase a new car, this innovative ownership program is more than a warranty; it’s a promise of reliability, affordability, and long-term support that firmly positions Nissan as a leader in customer care.
