A Perfect Blend of Power, Comfort, and Style
At the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, Suzuki unveiled its latest iteration of the Access 125 scooter, a model that’s poised to redefine urban commuting standards. Starting at an ex-showroom price of ₹81,700 (NZ$1,688) in Delhi, this upgraded two-wheeler offers significant enhancements in performance, practicality, and aesthetics, setting a high bar for its competitors.
The most notable upgrade in the new Access 125 lies in its re-engineered heart: an OBD-2B-compliant 125cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine with air cooling. Generating 8.4 horsepower and 10.2 Nm of peak torque, the engine now delivers marginally higher torque (+0.2 Nm) while sacrificing just 0.3 horsepower for better efficiency and reduced emissions. Suzuki’s Eco Performance (SEP) technology further enhances fuel economy and environmental friendliness, giving commuters a cost-effective and eco-conscious mobility solution.

Riding on the wave of technology integration, the Access 125 now features a Bluetooth-enabled digital instrument cluster, catering to tech enthusiasts seeking convenience and connectivity. This smart dashboard includes features like a calendar, rain alerts, and seamless integration with the Suzuki Ride Connect app, which goes beyond the basics with service reminders, fuel consumption data, ambient weather updates, and even digital wallet support .
To complement its tech-savvy nature, Suzuki has redesigned the scooter’s suspension system and seating arrangement. Riders and pillions alike now enjoy a relaxed and ergonomic seating position, courtesy of an extended seat and revised rear suspension layout. Safety and convenience are also prioritized, with practical touches like an external fuel lid, aluminium footrests, and a hazard light switch.
Suzuki hasn’t held back on aesthetics either. Reprofiled LED headlights and tail lamps add a touch of modernity, while five vivid color options—ranging from Solid Ice Green to Metallic Matte Black—let buyers reflect their personal style. Variants include Standard, Special, and the top-tier Ride Connect Edition, ensuring there’s an Access 125 for every kind of buyer.
The Access 125 wasn’t Suzuki’s only star at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo. The Japanese automaker also showcased an updated Gixxer 250 and the electric e-Access scooter, signaling its long-term commitment to embracing electric mobility.
With its blend of power, practicality, and tech enhancements, the 2025 Suzuki Access 125 takes a big leap forward while staying true to its commuter-friendly roots. For urban riders who want style with substance, this scooter offers an irresistible package. Whether you’re drawn by its efficiency, its sleek design, or its tech-savvy features, the new Access 125 ensures that the daily commute will be anything but ordinary.
