Playstation 5 – what game are you most looking forward to?

The all-new next-gen Sony Playstation 5 featuring a new controller with haptic technology and adaptive triggers will be arriving soon, and we can’t wait to play on it.

Jim Ryan President & CEO, Sony Interactive Entertainment says “Since we originally unveiled our next-generation console in April, we know that there’s been a lot of excitement and interest in hearing more about what the future of games will bring. I’m proud to share that our next-generation console will be called PlayStation 5, and we’ll be launching in time for Holiday 2020.

These updates may not be a huge surprise, but we wanted to confirm them for our PlayStation fans, as we start to reveal additional details about our vision for the next generation.”

Here’s what we know so far:

It has a DualSense PS5 controller, which includes features like haptic feedback, adaptive triggers and a built-in mic. it is radically different looking with a space-age black-and-white colour scheme that matches the PS5 design itself. It’s a significant departure from its predecessors.

The PS5 specs are impressive. For those that understand the tech garb, it has an AMD Zen 2-based CPU with 8 cores at 3.5GHz, 16GB of GDDR6 memory and a custom RDNA 2 AMD GPU that puts out 10.28 TFLOPs of processing power. It has ray-tracing, a super-fast SSD, a built-in 4K Blu-ray player and will be backwards compatible with much of the PS4’s game catalogue.

It all looks and sounds impressive, but will it have Gran Turismo? Well, apparently yes!
