Expiry Date Looms For Dodge Hellcat Models

Debuting in 2015, Dodge’s Challenger & Charger Hellcat models headlined news with their shameless attitude towards fuel efficiency. And the world loved it! The duo quickly became darlings of the car enthusiast world, tearing up plenty of drag strips on the way. Dodge recently added a Durango to the Hellcat mix as well but there’s been some more worrying news from the company’s CEO.

Could we soon see the end of these two?

An American news outlet quoted Dodge’s CEO essentially stating that the Hellcat models would not see the light of 2024. The same may probably be true for both the Challenger and Charger themselves with the two cars being in production for well over a decade. With Stellantis at the wheel, one can only expect the replacement to be electric. It remains to be seen how they will make an EV muscle car with the quite the appeal of these Dodges.

Car enthusiasts, please enjoy them while you still can!
