Mercedes and Google have signed an exciting partnership

As part of this agreement, Mercedes will get access to Google’s geospatial offering including detailed information about places, real-time and predictive traffic updates, automatic rerouting and ore! These will be embedded in the upcoming Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MBOS). The outstanding graphics and usability of Merc’s screens will add to a richer interaction. As part of this, the YouTube app will now be integrated into the infotainment system as well. If you thought this couldn’t get any more high tech then get this, the Google Maps data will also be used to assist with automatic speed adjustments before intersections, roundabouts and turns!

For the future of the partnership, Mercedes will also be using Google Cloud’s AI and Machine Learning capabilities to create and deploy new customer experience for upcoming Mercedes models.
